Food at Xcaret (esh-kar-et) Arte

Below are all the restaurants located at the Hotel Xcaret (esh-kar-et). Some are “No Reservation Required” and “Reservation Required”. All no reservation required restaurants are seated on a first come first serve basis, while reservation required restaurants will need to have a reservation in order to enjoy.

Any reservations that are missed will incur a $25 no show policy on the requestor’s room charges. Reservations can be made 30 days prior to arrival.

Encanta

Author restaurant by Chef Paco Méndez, Michelin Star Chef, who exalts the name of Mexico from Barcelona to the Caribbean.

This restaurant features a tasting menu that lasts 2 hours. Not recommended for people with food allergies or restrictions. 

Xaak

Tasting menu designed by Roberto Solís, Franco Maddalozzo, Paco Méndez, Jonatán Gómez Luna and Alejandro Ruiz. The experience is complemented with a pairing by multi-award-winning sommelier Sandra Fernández. As Hotel Xcaret Arte’s only signature restaurant, you will need to pay separately for your meals here. This features a tasting menu.

Chino Poblano

Cuisines from Puebla and China by Chef Jonatán Gómez Luna, who is the leader of a new chefs’ generation that has conquered the largest tables in the world.

This restaurant features a tasting menu that lasts 2 hours. Not recommended for people with food allergies or restrictions.
Dress code: resort elegance (dress fancy).

Tah-xido

Contemporary Japanese cuisine, offering the best of eastern flavors and culinary arts.

There is teppanyaki here.

Dress code: formal casual.

No Reservation Restaurants

IMPORTANT re: dinner dress code: it is casual. However, do NOT wear bathing suit and sandals or wet clothes. Men: wear shirts with sleeves.
